about

This is a silly pop song about how fast time flies by and how you never really know what the hell is going on. It's also about attempting to reflect the world through music. I really wanted to get some mellotron onto the record, so I shoehorned it into the middle section - I think it works.

lyrics

All this time, it feels like a spinning wheel,
Like a mountain obscured at the top.
And it is never gonna stop, no it is never gonna stop.
When it blows through your home and seeps through your bones
Like the deepest chill that you've felt,
But you can never ever tell, no you can never ever tell.

In a short pop song, half profound, half wrong,
With an obsession with another one,
With a bubbling doubt that weighs a ton.
These are just afterthoughts that rhyme,
And sometimes they miss their mark.

When you're trapped in deep, in a deep deep sleep,
Trying to scrub the sand from your eyes,
And you are never getting wise, no you are never getting wise.
'Til your very last days with your blurred out gaze
And that creeping feeling you've felt
That you can never ever tell, no you can never ever tell.

Feels like falling.
This winter's store,
It's a gaping maw
That devours all that we have found.
It feels too soon
For a blue sky view,
For a bright full moon
That illuminates the deepest chasm.

All this time, it feels like a spinning wheel,
Like a mountain obscured at the top,
And it is never gonna stop, no it is never gonna stop.
